You'd think they'd have realized this- you can only 
vary the pump flow so much. The thing's meant to run on 
say 12v continuous and probably won't pump anything 
until is gets say 5v rms, you don't have much of a 
scale to work with. You'd need a really fancy pump or 
something- or 2 pumps, a small one that's driven at 
closed throttle and then a big one once there is load. 
I duuno. Seems like it'd still work better to pulse a 
single valve and have the pump run continuously. A lot 
less inertia issues to deal with and the system would 
be more responsive. Still doesn't cure the dynamic 
range issue though. Maybe a proportional valve fed a 
voltage produced by a 10 bit D/A converter? I know this 
is all silly when we have fully programmable efi, but 
it'd be neat to have a system that blends the 
simplicity and reliability of CIS with the tuneability 
of efi. Am I right in assuming that this is why I see 
this topic come up so often? Sorry if none of my 
comments/questions make any sense, I'm just a newbie. I 
try to read all the archives though. :D
