A 4-wire sensor has 2 wires for the cell and 2 wires for the
heater. A 1-wire sensor has 1 wire for the cell and uses the metal
in the exhaust, studs, nuts and head for the other cell terminal.
The heated sensor must have heater current; some (most?) NB sensors
have internal switching (bi-metal) so they switch off the heater
when it's warm enough.
In theory you could connect one heater terminal to ignition-on
circuit, the other to the block; and one of the cell terminals to
the block as well.
But DO check if the heater switches itself off.
