Building a Flow bench

I have been thinking about this project for years and always intended to use
a leaf blower. I still need a meter. I looked up the specs on the leaf
blower that I have and it draws twice the air that I will require. A
refurbished SOLO 414 BACK-PACK BLOWER 3.4hp is about $250 and blows
1100m³/hr. My Porsche 944 AFM  is 500 m³/hr max. This may not power a V8,
but you could always buy the 5hp version instead. You can find a bargain on
eBay for under $100. If you feel the need to over engineer it, I am sure you
can spend 10 times that amount if you tried.
