But okay on a normally aspirated car?

If yes; just plumb a line form the plenum/manifold or turbo outlet into the
header tank for the water/alcohol injection - then the pump doesn't have to
"start all the way down at atmospheric" and is always 4-6 bar ABOVE manifold
pressure, always the same spray pattern/pressure difference across the
injector/nozzle ala fuel rails. Sounds simple but is often not done; just
gives the pump a little headstart.
