Don't know about fast, but "wideband" basically means linear in this case
(although looking at the VOUT vs. AFR curves, there are different slopes for
the rich side and lean side.) Regular production O2 sensors are basically
oxygen presence detectors. Oxygen is either there or it isn't, therefore
you are either rich or lean. In a wideband, the output versus AFR is much
more linear so you can tell with more confidence that you are at 12.5:1
instead of "rich."

What does 'wide band' mean anyway? Is it fast? Could I put it into the
header collector, and using timing delays, calculate the mixtures of
different cylinders?
