Sheesh, more than I ever wanted to know...... Like I said, my prime focus
here was getting a flat AFR curve over varying RPMs & loads. Just threw
the H2O/alky injection tidbit into the pot because I'd happened to record
it - I haven't a clue as to what the numbers meant.

Ok, here's my latest brainstorm (looking for another project to fill my
otherwise empty life...): anybody looked into using the WB output to help
maintain engine AFRs in, say, a 749 ECM?

Using the F31M table, "Base Pulse Inverse Air Temp vs. ADMAP" - scaled
table to affect the VE as manifold temp changes - leans on heating, richens
on cooling. ECM impresses a roughly 5v signal on the MAT thermistor -
resistance varies inversely as temp, i.e., lo resistance = hi temp,
etc. MAT sensor in the range 450-25k ohms. Scaling this table
appropriately, impress the voltage output, suitably conditioned, from the
WB onto this in lieu of the MAT sensor - with suitable math & electrical
engineering, should be able to get the engine to maintain a more or less
fixed AFR - say, 12.5:1, sort of a poor man's FAST box.

Is this an old hat deal? What think you all?

Thanks - Barry
