effect of CAT on WBO2 readings?

A lot. To quote from the 920234 SAE paper:

    "All sensors downstream of the catalyst cannot catch
    the misfire signal (p 35)."

All sensors is regarding both a UEGO and a HEGO sensor.
Have to remember that the job of a cat is to convert HC into
CO/CO2 by the burning of O2.
