[Diy_efi] "Wet" Manifold Questions

The supercharger is an Opcon/Autorotor compressor.

Where is info that indicates that the compressor is before
the TB?

I am aware that it "CAN" work, however I would consider the
extreme noise of this setup to be unacceptable. At the end
of the day, having the TB at the inlet to the compressor
is actually making packaging easier for me.

As for intercooling being a waste of time for low boost, I would and will
wholeheartedly disagree with you. On an engine that runs 10-10.5:1
compression,
I don't want to run without an intercooler. The centrifugal kits,
which use compressors that have 70-75% efficiency (vs a max of
about 65% for the twin-screw, 80% is pure BS), have significant
heat soak problems on hot days or on the road-race track
due to the added heat. I am not willing to accept that, and it
should not be an issue in a "properly engineered" kit.

Intercooling, or at least the option to use it (I may want to develop
a cheaper non-intercooled kit eventually), is non-negotiable to me...
