Hi Bill,

re Liquid Phase Propane Injectors

The $10,000 (US) answer to your question is yes. In lots of
100 at approx. $100 each. They are available in 6 different
flow rates (and colours) from approx. 30 hp per cylinder upto
100 hp per cylinder.

They are manufactured by Siemens in Italy and are still
classified as experimental. Mainly due to the over night
leakage issue. Ten years ago they would have met all
the appropriate emissions standards but with EURO 3
and the recent US tightening of "leakage emissions"
they have been made a little less acceptable. This is
the single biggest issue with implementation of Liquid
Phase LPG in the OEM market.

What type of application did you have in mind ? I would
love to do an aircraft. With the new carbon fibre tanks the
proposition is not as silly as it sounds. KG for pound LPG
is good value and burns so clean in a gas turbine or Otto
engine that the planet could use a swap from Avgas or
that horrible muck Jet1 (badly refined kerosene with all
the wax they took from the diesel fuel)

Any thoughts ?

Phil
