Bruce,

Do you know how they do this recalc?  Do they do it with the
one standard MAP sensor, without extra hardware isolated from
the manifold?  It seems like you could assume that MAP ==
ambient pressure at WOT for certain engines and circumstances,
but that's a pretty rare occurence for most people.
