For the tuners serious enough to take humidity into account,
this may be of interest.

The Nov. '02 Nuts-n-Volts ( http://www.nutsvolts.com ) Basic Stamp
column has info on a humidity sensor from http://www.sensirion.com.
Temp resolution is 0.01*C, accuracy +/- 2*C, humidity resolution
is 0.03%, accuracy +/- 3.5% from 20-80% RH. "This is quite good
for a low-cost sensor". The SHT1x uses "a two-wire interface that
is similar to I2C." The article goes into detail on the protocol
and some non-linearities.

Sensirion also makes mass flow $en$ors that may be of interest
to some.
