Bruce:

I'm not willing to give up on the DIY-WB just yet. I don't think any of use
expected that it would be "lab" quality, but if it can consistently show
trends and reasonable accuracy, it can be useful

I was just starting to get a pretty good tune with DIY-WB & data log when I
decided to change my cam.

Are you saying that our WB's CalR should be correct if we get 4.0 volts on a
free air test?

When I get done with this cam change I'll get you that data from my WB.

Thanks,

Dan Nicoson

Subject: [Diy_efi] DIY-WB question

Anyone mistrusting the Rcal circuit could put in about a
10K ohm pot instead of the sensor resistor, and adjust
it to get the specified open air voltage.

If quite a few users would compile their J9 to J8 voltage
in free air, along with the ohms of their sensor Rcal, we
could compile some kind of statistical error record for
the design. Make adjustments if indicated. Or perhaps
just show its doing the job.
