[Diy_efi] Bosch L-Jetronic Trouble

Hi,

Where to look??

I've got an '87 Porsche 924S that starts fine, makes it through 
post-start (starts, runs at idle, accelerates normally, its even drives 
normally during this period) and then dies immediately.  It stops just 
like you switched the key off.  It doesn't stumble, accelerate, or 
anything else.  It just dies immediately.

I don't know if this is particularly indicative of anything.  The 
manuals I've got (Bosche Fuel Injection & Engine Management by Probst, 
and the Porsche factory manuals) don't do a very good job of trouble 
shooting by symptom.  They pretty much say 'check everything'.

Once off of post-start what is the primary control input for the pulsed 
injection?

I'll be taking everything to pieces tomorrow, but any insight into where 
to look first would be appreciated.
