[Diy_efi] Picking a EFI base system

Hi all,

I have successfully implemented a TBI (747) system on my Toyota I6 motor and
I am happy with it. I now have another vehicle with the some I6 motor in it
and I want to go to the next step, TPI. I did some searching in the archive
and cruised through a few of the EFI info sites and I am still a little
confused on which system I should use. I guess the first step is to check on
what I am using to pick a EFI system:

o I would like to have an injector for each cylinder (sequential seams like
it would be best)
o I would like to use a HEI dist (I have already got this adapted to my
Toyota block)
o It seams that a MAF set up would be easier to implement instead of a
speed density (MAP) setup

Using those criteria above it seems that the '89 V6 MAF would be one way to
go but the down side is it appears that it fires all the injectors instead
of just one at a time. Right?

Maybe OBDII ('96 and on V6s) would be better but I am not sure a HEI would
work with this?

Is there something better or am I missing something important?

Thanks.
-TomQ
