We are getting a complete 2-stroke 600 engine direct from one of my contacts
at Polaris Industries. We are also getting a complete Mitsu GDI shipped in
from NZ.
Our plan is to get the Mitsu stuff, figure out if we will need 1 or 2 injector
per head (dwell time), and then machine a new head for the 600 that will
incorporate the injectors and a spark plug.
We already have a D.T.A controller that we are going to modify to run the
injectors. There was never a plan to use any GM equipment.
This will be a DI system, that is the whole point of doing it. As well, then
we have the option of sealing the crankcase and going Detroit style.
So, that brings me back to my question of if anyone has worked with these
injectors? Knowing a few specs ahead of time would save us some time.
thanx
