all together there is an issue with the thoery of relativity. i found this a
while back very very ammusing.
This question is so sufficiently silly that it is actually fun to reply to
it. Leaving aside the non-trivial question of what is meant by speaking of a
changing speed of light (such as "relative to what reference standard?"), I
can assure the engineering community that they need not worry about this for
the next several million years.
Those who insist on worrying about miniscule corrections to classical
physics might wish to shift their attention to something else that is far
less hypothetical, much bigger, and more imminent. An automobile with a rest
mass of 2000 kg increases by 10 nanograms when the thing travels at 30 m/sec
or 67 miles/hr. Yet nobody seems to worry about that.
