The oxygen sensor has a limited lifetime, partly defined by the amount
of oxygen it sees. And calibration or recalibration can be expensive if
it has to be sent in.

Four gas analyzers seem to go for $200 - $400 on ebay, Sun made a nice
two gas analog analyzer which usually goes for $150-$200 there.
