1. You need to learn a little more about how a Jake brake functions.
2. For a restriction downstream of the turbocharger turbine, mebbe a VATN
compound turbine, geared to the crank via a fluuid coupling--- Holset is
already doing exactly this, in conjunction with Scania, except for the
Variable nozzle part. Cummins has played with it too (the compound turbine
adds 50 Hp to an engine which otherwise makes 400 Hp. Mack uses a simlar
compound turbine to drive a fan which pulls the cooling air over the air to
air IC.
