    Some 25 - 30 years ago an uncle of mine had a similar problem with a 
Volvo - In his case the fuel was finding it's way into the sump!!
Finally an experienced Volvo mechanic said that the injectors had not 
been correctly re-installed after a service, and in that situation they 
apparently worked fine while the engine was running, (but they may have 
been leaking then also and who would know) but when it was switched off 
and the fuel pressure started to drop they stopped(?) sealing and 
dribbled/dripped fuel.
    My 20c worth, it may or may not help, but anway.....
