Wow, that is great info, Jan. I thank you *very* much. :^) Another question
I have is in regards to the spray pattern. On some (most?) of the 1.8T
engines, the injector sprays off to the side and in two streams. This avoids
wetting the intake manifold walls. Do you know if larger than 388cc/min
injectors are available from Bosch that spray like this? Finally, what is
the name of the type of injector that came on the earlier VW motors? (-such
as the VR6, for example.) Here is a picture of what I am talking about:

  In attachment some details from the BOSCH EV6/EV12/EV14 injectors.
  the injector 0 280 150 464 used on the 1.8T older versions 150 hp
  the injector 0 280 155 897 (& 894) are used on the newer 150hp and all 180
hp versions
  the injector 0 280 155 892 used on the 210hp and225 hp versions gives
388cc/min at 3.0 bar fuel pressure.
  This is the data that I could find for You.
