[Diy_efi] Off Topic....nozzle atomization

This is basically off-topic, but I'm sure some can relate it to Water
Injection. I just finished making a DIY snow maker machine. It works WELL,
but I'm having problems with controlling/directing the output. It's hooked
up to an air compressor and pressure washer. The output from the finest
nozzle we could find seems to shoot a 10 foot stream/mist. It's good for
making snow, but since it shoots so far, the wind likes to carry it away
from target...no matter where I position it of course....

Does anyone have any idea on how I could either limit the output velocity,
or somehow direct the output to fall to the ground closer to the tip
without affecting atomization? I suppose I can craft a swivel joint and a
stand to aim it exactly where I want (next step), but I'm all for hearing
ideas on how to better control the output..ie, smaller nozzle, less water,
or larger nozzle more air pressure etc etc... Thanks.
