[Diy_efi] Injector operation

Because A) there is a distinct advantage to having the
fueling event occur for a small section of the
engine's full cycle, most particularly at lower rpms
and smaller throttle openings, and B) it's a lot
easier to build a cheap, reliable, long-lived solenoid
than stepper motor.

A) This I need to learn more about.
B) Solenoid valve can be easily proportioally controlled by modulating the
current. This is done every day with hydraulic control valves.

Do you know of any sites that have timing diags of injector on time vs inlet
open time ? I am trying to get my head around the various injection
strategies.

Thanks
Peter
