[Diy_efi] WI into exhaust manifold....

When you buy a water injection kit from Aquamist, it includes several
different sizes of metal jest which may be suitable.

The jet appears to be made of stainless. The back of the jet unscrews,
inside is what appears to be a porus bronze metal that may be filtering any
debris out of the water / methanol.

Given the discussion on the WI methanol and corrossion there may be an issue
with the droplet size being produced by these jets.

I have some tapered threaded holes on my exhaust manifolds pre - turbo which
I installed for exhaust gas temperature probes. Once I get my current
mapping stuff out of the way, I wil probably give these a shot.

The recent discussion about WI injection into the exhaust manifold was very
interesting. I've been trying to think of something things to do my thesis
on and this might be it. Before I go ahead and pitch it to my advisor...I
have one question. Can you guys think of anything that is readily available
to serve as the injector?

Cheers,
M.
