Take a look at www.cruzers.com/~ludis to find 730 applications.  Then
take a look at www.car-part.com for used car parts.  How does $20 sound
for a 730 from a '90 Pontiac 6000?

Engine harnesses go for $75-$100 no matter what they're from it seems. 
Sometimes they're cheaper on ebay, but you have to watch a while to find
one.  So you might as well get the right one, remember you need the
sensor and other connectors to match, not just the PCM connector.  Some
of those 730 apps are MAP, some are MAF.

Then buy the V8 calpak from the dealer (or www.gmpartsdirect.com), that
way you're starting with something known good.
