That would certainly do it, but I'd be pretty
concerned about the condition of the rest of the
injector if that was the case. The screen is pretty
coarse, by the standards of the tolerances within the
injector.
Certainly nothing to be lost by cleaning the screen
and seeing if that helps, but if it was my dollar, I'd
just get a replacement injector. Should cost about
the same as having it professionally cleaned, and
you'd be sure a new one was in good shape.
