[Diy_efi] peak-and-hold injector driver ic's

Does anyone know of any other peak and hold injector driver IC's than the
standard
LM1949(National), L584(ST) and DRV103(TI)

The CS452/453's are no longer in production, and so are very hard to get
ahold of.
I've thought about making up a discrete circuit for the same effect, ie high
current turn on, switch to low current hold after some time t.  It'd just
take up a little more room, and cost a little more in added component cost.
Any ideas??
