what's $500? The whole ECU? What's the processor's price?
The arm-based OKI controller (also 32 bit)
is ~ $23 .. $30 in quantities.
Similar high-end rocket-level processor like
this motorola. Except arm has gcc support.
(does this motorola have as well?)
