Why don't you look at the infineon C161 and C167 family this should do
whatever you want at a cost of $15 to $20.

I'm using it for a similar propritetary EFI project.

565 is 32 bit, various speeds (40MHz springs to mind) multiple TPUs more IO
than you can shake a stick at etc etc.Designed to run the entire car.

More HP than most could use. Greg is wierd so needs NASA spec stuff :-) He
is also bigger than me, so I'm not gunna argue.

Back on topic. Worth throwing a mail at JC. A few months back he was talking
about doing such a beast as a successor to EFI332, but more user friendly.
All the ECU you could eat for around the $500.

Before you barf, we are talking something that would cost $5k as an OEM
part. This is a SERIOUS MCU.
