[Diy_efi] Minimalist micro based EFI ?

Hi chaps,

With all the discussion about new EFI controllers currently and
sophisticated kernels etc...

I wonder if anyone has done a minimalist micro based design to
see what bare essentials one can get by with, basically you just
need:-

MAF, analog, 10 - 12 bits, what resolution are people using ?
Adjust MAF, 10 - 12 bits, is 10 bits enough ?
Temp, analog,  10 bits should be plenty ?
O2, analog, 10 - 12 bits, is 10 bits enough ?
CAS, 2 digital timing to prescaler/counters
Injector outputs, 4, 6, 8 to suit coil types
Aux air control, PWM - 1 digital line
TPS, mine is a pulsed with idle switch so all digital.
