I will be firing my Olds 455 with this surge tank. I think that unless =
you're planning on doing full-throttle donuts with less than 1/4 tank, =
the volume won't be much of a problem. Either way, if I punch it around =
a curve I lose control anyway :)

  Subject: [Diy_efi] Surge Tank

  Hello everyone,

  I am working on a Mustang fuel injection conversion for a customer =
with a 351C engine. He would like to use a surge tank in the engine =
compartment and the stock mechanical fuel pump to supply it. Has anyone =
ever used the VW part (pn 020510-154136-Z10) that was mentioned a while =
back with an engine this size? I am concerned that there may not be =
enough volume in this part to supply consistent fuel pressure for a =
small block. Also, if anyone is looking for sensor datasheets for GM =
fuel components, we have these listed on the web page listed below under =
"Support". Any thoughts or comments on the situation are greatly =
appreciated.=20
