Jim - Why not just set up a filter in your email client to send the email
to a seperate folder. Then you can look at what interests you (by
subject)and scrap the rest. Keeps you up on the latest discussions without
overwhelming your inbox and you!!!

Subject: [Diy_efi] HiWay Mode Question
I've installed a 747 on an older RV. With gas prices being what they are,
I'm looking for max mpg. Therefore, I've implemented the Hiway Mode Patch
(Hiway747.zip) that I found on the diy-efi uploads. I've also modified my
ALDL stream so I can monitor the Hiway timer (at L0078) and the commanded
AFR (at L00A5) so I can see what is happening.
When I drive the vehicle, and all the qualifications are met (temp above set
value, mph above a threshold for more that the set time and MAP below a
threshold) it refuses to set the Hiway mode timer and go into Hiway mode
UNTIL I stick my foot in it and push the MAP above the upper limit
threshold. It then immediately sets the Hiway timer and drops into Hiway
mode when the timer hits the threshold. It then seems to behave normally
and drops out of Hiway mode (zero's the timer) when the speed drops below
the threshold. BUT, it also holds hiway mode no matter what the MAP reading
when the speed is above the threshold.
Has anyone else seen this? I've looked at the assembler code and the
comparisons seem to be correct.
Does anyone have any idea as to why this is happening?
Thanks,
