Mike:
Most of the griping I hear about Accel injectors is that they randomly =
stop working, or leak fuel into the intake. I can't remember any =
specifics, but searching a bit in the TPI and DIY-PROM sections at =
thirdgen.org will probably get you a few good complaints.
The enable settings for BLM learn at idle are different from non-idle =
learn so it may just not be updating. If you reset the BLMs then you'll =
know it's updating when it changes from 128 (you'll have to pull the ECM =
fuse or disconnect the battery to clear the BLM info.) I'd try that =
before I spent more time troubleshooting.
Charles:
I would STRONGLY recommend going to a heated O2 in your case. Headers =
(especially longtubes) move the O2 farther from the exhaust port which =
makes it much more susceptible to cooling down at idle. I'd be willing =
to bet this is what's causing your idle BLM creep.
