No, I haven't confused the input with the output.  I wish it were that simple.

The EST (ECM Output) signal from the two different systems APPEAR identical.  
The reference signals do not (ECM Input).  The reference signal from the DIS 
system has a 50% duty cycle and the HEI is less.  I believe this is what 
causes the base timing to be off when using a HEI .bin with DIS.  Again, the 
EST signals appear identical.  Once you adjust the base timing in the .bin,  
the advance table seems to be rendered inop.
