Thanx for the advice and reference David!
Probably life-savin (trans-life, that is) advice!
'Preciate it more tahn ya know!
Ya see, I have a 5 yr old daughter who I don't want being stuck with me
in my non-a/c 70 Superbee in the 100+ degree Houston heat and humidity,
nor if it breaks down, or somethin funky like that, I don't want her to
have to walk the miles of road leading to a gas station or parts store
or the like...
We've actually had to do this once, and she got sick from it, just a
fever this time, may have been somethin we ate or petted at the aquarium
at Moody Gardens in Galveston, none the less, we had to walk more than 2
miles, which is about 2 to 5 times more steps for a lil girl than it is
for a big man like myself...
Anyhow, the point is, I want the truck to be as reliable, if not MORE
reliable, than it was even when I had it runnin before the trans prob...
PLUS it has a/c, which is the MAIN reason I 'm even messin with it....
The Fuel injection will be a bonus, however, the reliability of a self
installed efi system, or the parts used when building the system, are
what I'm worried about as far as reliability....
With this in mind, what are the top 3 most reliable efi systems on the
market today? Either on a factory car or aftermarket?
And clues?
Thanks!
Todd....
