Winter came to Finland... now everyone here can practise rally skills (at
least if driving RWDs). This leads to question that it would be nice to
"upgrade" my Heavy VAN -89 to ABS world. I know that in -91 model there was
rear wheel ABS available but because I'm most interested in all wheel ABS.
Is there any forum or gurus handling ABS matters - I'm mostly interested in
"junkyard source" to keep costs down; front rotors are dead (and probably
rear drums also) so if there is reasonable source for other parts needed for
ABS i'm willing to replace weared-out parts to ABS ones for later upgrade.
Also slippage control comes to my mind during winter - with heavy car all
rear wheel friction helps to get car going (like limited slip rear-end) but
if driver's having heavy throttle leg who knows where's going after a while.
And if no limited slip then get stuck everywhere!
