Cam Swap

Delta Camshafts out of Tacoma WA did the regrind. Many cam grinders
will do a regrind they just happened to have a balance shaft L35 core
in stock. The TBI camshaft really doesn't have enough meat on it to
get a decent grind out of it. The cam only cost me $80. The truck
idles fine, cold start is not instant like it was before. This makes
me wonder what is going to happen at low temps. A cat back exhaust is
probably the next mod. Edlebrock makes headers for this truck, but
you void the warranty if you ceramic coat them. Is cracking of coated
headers a big problem. My real hurdle may be emissions testing, its a
relatively easy test for 4wd just idle and 2200 rpm no load. If I do
have a problem with emissions I can always loose some intake duration.
What cam timing is recomended?

A set of headers really helps these trucks. WHo ground
the cam, if you don't mind my asking. Seem like those
roller cams are costly buggers. Backe to the exhaust, have you
             done anything there?
Regarding your 're-tune', if it is still idling okay, you're
prolly alright.
If you can borrow a scan tool, you could watch the o2 sensor
under
W.O.T. conditions to make sure there is enough fuel...
