Thanks for the reply, but yes, this is a DIS car w/knock sensor. I believe 
MOST cars of 85+ had knock detection. ANYWAY, yeah, I'm sure it works, but 
thanks. I've stumbled on info that I'll have to look into further, or maybe 
one of you on the list already has. A guy from another list mentioned GM 
didnt release dwell info to the aftermarket, and that the aftermarket may 
just guess at optimal dwell. If this is the case, and they list one module 
for a bunch of applications, it might be safe to say there IS a problem 
w/aftermarket modules. After all, dwell affects timing right? Which coiuld 
mean you have more or less timing that you've writting into the calibration, 
and not know it right? Any of you out there have further insight?
