More silly ideas-MAP2

| I think this would only work for adjusting to increases
| in BAR. For decreases, such as driving up a mountain,
| how can you differentiate between a lower BAR and simple
| engine MAP?

You shouldn't have to. At less than PE, feedback will correct it.
AT WOT then it is self correcting, when executed right.

| I kinda liked the idea of opening the MAP reference to
| atmosphere so the readings are relative to current BAR.
| I wonder why this isn't the method that's employed?
| There must be some sort of problem with it?

$$$, like everything else gm does money rules.. If they can get close with
a software fix, then that's the way they go. But, for 3 HP I'll buy a
second MAP.

| Seems to me I've seen code where the MAP is read at WOT for get a new Baro
| reading. In fact doesn't the 747 have something in there about this?
|
| Is this right Mr. Fenske?
