747 swap - TCC control using kick down output from ECM

Hi all,

I'm preparing to swap a TBI 305 (~'89) out of a full size pickup into a 
Malibu using a wiring harness from a full size G van '88. The van used a 
TH400 that needed an output to energise the kick down solenoid via a relay. 
The target vehicle uses aTH350C (L/U TCC) that needs +12 during cruise just 
the opposite of what the kickdown output supplies.

Can anyone think of a good reason if I flipped the relay output so it 
provided +12 during cruise intead of +12 @ WOT this would not work properly 
?

Note the orginal Pickup harness was butchered before I got the engine.
