VSS Omit???

Well, yes it is needed in a manual. It  will handle the decel fuel cutoff,
shift anticipation (float the rpm's for smoother shifting) and the ECM may
not change fuel blocks. In addition, the fan shutoff/MPH won't work.

It is what happens with my 7730 when the VSS was not connected.
