Same with oil lines :-) You would not believe how much oil one of them oil
pumps can pump out. Driving a super series car one year (oval track) for a
guy cause he got hurt. Had remote oil filter with rubber lines and hose
barbs, barb had cut through line from too tight of a clamp, oil line ripped
off coming out of second turn spaying all 7 quarts of oil all over the
headers in a matter of seconds. Burnt up car, wrecked my Simpson suit,
helmet and shoes. Was fireball from 2nd turn till start of 4rth when I got
it stopped. I'm with Bruce on this one. It cost me over $500 to equip the
truck with earls an fittings for fuel and oil system, but how much is you
life worth to ya?? Fuel is allot more flammable than oil, and you probably
won't be wearing a fire suit if it is a daily driver.

BTW Bruce, thanks for reminding me what those fittings were called The only
thing I could think of was flare :-) Man brain is like sieve I tell ya.

Used brass compression union to pipe thread and npt to an for going from 3/8
fuel line to the fuel rail with the steel braided line.

Barbed fittings?. Never in my book.
Everything under the hood is AN. Yes, more $$$, but is much more
fire
	resistant then any neoprene.......
	Grumpy

	| I just picked up a set of 36lb injectors for my Olds 403 project
since I
	| got them at a really good deal.... the thing is, I think they may
be a bit
	| large for my app. The stock regulator I'm using is set at 39lbs -
how low
	| could I drop it before I run into problems?
	|
	| Also, what's everyone using for connections of high-pressure hose
to steel
	| line? Is a standard brass barbed fitting ok?
