Hi Mike,
Sometimes you have to forgive(or accept whichever you prefer) the
electonically or mechanically challenged.....as we are all both. The easiest
way or best way for one might be completely different for you! But, that is
how we all get our own impressions of how it's supposed to be.....that is
what brings out new technology(ideas) to whomever......that is us in a
truth......the only way to truly grow from each other is to accept that and
learn.......just some thoughts......cya

YES I agree that it is easier to turn off the vats bit if you have a EPROM
burner and UV eraser. But lets say you don't. what is cheaper and does
exactly the same job? Hmm $250 Vs $5.... And if you did it like I did and
wire in a plug and connector, well you have the anti theft when you unplug
the module for when you put it away for storage or leave it parked for a few
days. Also very useful for when you are on a trip and park your car in a
very shady part of an unfamiliar town. Kinda a lot of effort pulling out
your ECM pulling the chip all the time when you want to make it theft
 resistant:-)
