Any Advice on Shorty Plugs?

I'm running regular Bosh Plantinum plugs on my Edelbrock TES equipped 92 L98
Z28 with NO problems. I dont see the need for the shorty plugs. There's
plenty of clearance left between a 90 degree boot and the header tube.
