would anybody happen to have a source for locating a C4 vette instrument cluster schematic? I'm particularly looking for the header strip pinout that mates the controller card to the display card. Also, what's up with the ALDL having 2 different (from what i've seen) data stream pin locations. mine is a 7165 ecm (or, it's supposed to be as the MAF has the relay setup rather than the burnoff module arrangement). year is '86/ L98. One drawing i've seen shows the pin at location M while a full blown schematic shows it at pin E. did Chevy pull a mid-year boner in that they threw some leftover 870 ECMs into these vettes or worse yet....did some early XXX7165 ECMs still transmit data at 160 (gack) baud rates before going to 8192?

and hey, while i'm curious...what is the exact function of the .ecu files i keep reading about? 
Oh...and hey.....does anybody know what the difference is in the motorola S19 format vs. the motorola S9 format?
