Export software is cool for Hot Rods , especially since it doesn't do
Module ID Match as does Domestic Production Software.
Reverting to OBD1 style emission hardware should really be the ticket
for retrofit work. Module Match began in 99 MY.
There are numerous Non North American cals , although not so useful
without Xport Vin Ids. Good work , since LS1 "Family"
Engines are used across Pass / Truck platforms now. Previous PCM/VCMs
in trucks were same , just software changed to
match specific 4.3 , 5.7 or 7.4 L. In light of GMs consolidation efforts
of late , I wouldn't be surprised if the 8.1 would be included,
as you suspect. Have Tech2 will travel , if you have Vin Id ! Unfortunate
, not all folks can use Xport SW for inspection reasons.
Yes ,OBD2 Flash can be dumped with the appropriate programmer and chip
algos , lots of work to sweat SMT's off the Motherboards.
While we're at it, 2001 MY does WOT CL Fuel Control ! Not sure if Xport
SW does this.
