DIY EGOR

Due to the sudden rash of folks wanting to make money at others express
(yes, I have time and money in this), I've been forced to do something that
I never thought I would resort to doing.
The DIY EGOR will not be free.
Yes, it is with saddened heart I must say it will now be expensive.
If I hear of a copy being shared, I'll rip it down and tear it up.
If you been on the list for a while then you pretty well know me,
If your new to the list sorry, you out of luck, unless you read the
archives.
The cost is time, you'll have to think. You'll have to read the archives.
If you have trouble finding it, and feel slighed (if you've given me cause
to think you've made a penny *off of the list*, don't bother), write me off
list, and we'll talk about it.

What has been released is enough for you, to build it and use it with a DVM
Hopefully somone will figure a readout, interface for the gmecm, and share
that.
Then in time with more hours on them maybe a *better* version, will evolve
say **EGORII**.
This is not a lab grade unit, or meant to be. It's for the DIY_EFIer that
want a WB for use with tuning experiments. The design uses the design
features of the unit itself. It avoids the pitfalls of the stock switching
ecms.
Tinkering will be neseccary to get a final version, and maybe several
versions to get there.
This is a no guarantee item. No one is going to cover any of these with
absolutes. It's a Do It Yourself item. If you haven't the confidence to
risk a sensor or two in the process, don't build it. We went analog to make
it most available. A digitial version would have been simpler, but not as
avaialbe for everyone to build. I hope any others that work on this will
continue in the vain of KISS, and remember there are lots of mechanics
around that don't share the indepth knowledge of things as an EE would.
No one is bending your arm on this, we're all (or almost all) adults here,
and if not then you should get and adult to supervise you and your DIY EGOR
experiments.
I have 20+ hours on mine, there have been a few others in use.
It compared favorably with the NTK
On the *scope* looked to be acting well.
I'd like to say from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU to the guys that
gave the time to get it this far. I'd also like to apologize for the
hounding that I did to get things along.
All I can say is that it's the best I can offer, if you have questions then
you have to figure them out. Use the list, for ideas and working things out
that's why it's here. Since this is not a product I feel nor will bear any
responsibility for tech support or answering guestions about it..
Thanks
Again
Bruce + the little guys

One note in passing, any of this attitude of the list owing any one anything
ain't flyin here at CSH, HQ. Don't even write me with an IOU something
attitude.
