I've checked the glow plug circut, everything is fine there, I even put in
the "indestructable" G60 glow plugs. I've never heard anything about this
TDC releard. Could you give some more detail on that? I would think that he
set the timing, but there's always a possibility... Would it run good if it
wasn't? Once it's started, it runs great. It does have a modified  turbo
and Borla exhaust.

Did the shop perform the TDC relearn, set timing properly, etc ??? There's
an offset that must be learned,
otherwise the entire timing curve is incorrect--especially
the start up timing. If they failed to check the glow plug
circuit--I'd find another shop <g>.
