LT1 ECU

I've been searching around but have been unable to locate the ECU file for
any year LT1.  Before I consider reinventing the wheel, has this ever been
done?

I know Tunercat has a TDF file for it, is it just that the LT1 has never
been reverse engineered on the public domain side?
