1226455 ECM?

Has anyone played with these much? I've been throwing around
the idea of using one of these on our dirt track car next year. They
only allow "factory 2bbl carbs". No EFI. Nothing says you can't
run an electronic carb. Anyone know if it's worth the effort?

Controls timing, operates mixture control solenoid on carb, switches
limited
number of solenoids on/off (usually for smog equipment).  Very rough n
tough in
some aspects.  With all the outputs except the distributor disconnected,
and
with 3 of 4 major sensors disconnected, the ecm is still doing its best to
control timing.  I think that's amazing.
