DRAC in '95S10

Hey guys,
I know someone on the list has been here before--I've retrofitted the
16197427 in place of the FLASH VCM on
this '95S10 Vortec, and have some speedo grief. Is the VSS translated in the
speedo head in the '95 ??
DRAC is wired in, but I've got a feeling that this thing wants an AC signal
from what Alldata info says.
